WARRANTY POLICY
Last Updated: March 9, 2026
Sarah Elise Jewelry is proud to offer a 3 Year Free Manufacturing Warranty on eligible jewelry products. This warranty reflects our commitment to craftsmanship and quality.
1. What the Warranty Covers
Our 3 Year Free Manufacturing Warranty covers only verified manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship that existed at the time of manufacture and/or at the time the item was delivered to the original purchaser and that become apparent during the warranty period under normal, intended use.
A covered manufacturing defect is limited to a flaw caused solely by the original production process. To qualify for coverage, the condition must be determined by Sarah Elise, after physical inspection, to have resulted from defective materials or workmanship, and not from normal wear and tear, routine use, impact, accidental damage, improper care, misuse, neglect, chemical exposure, failure to perform recommended maintenance, or any unauthorized repair, resizing, or alteration.
Examples of issues that may be covered, if confirmed by inspection, include:
-
a stone becoming loose due to a defective setting attributable to the original manufacturing process;
-
prongs failing due to a craftsmanship defect present at the time of manufacture;
-
a verified metal or assembly defect resulting directly from the original production process.
For clarity, the existence of a loose stone, worn prong, bent ring, dent, scratch, cracked setting, or other damage does not, by itself, establish a manufacturing defect. Many such conditions can develop over time through ordinary wear, impact, pressure, snagging, improper handling, or lack of maintenance and are therefore not covered by this warranty.
All warranty claims are subject to physical inspection and final determination by Sarah Elise. Photographs and customer descriptions are reviewed for preliminary assessment only and do not, by themselves, establish warranty coverage.
Sarah Elise reserves the right to deny any claim where the condition is consistent with normal wear, accidental damage, customer use, or failure to follow recommended care and maintenance practices rather than a defect in original materials or workmanship.
2. Regular Maintenance Required
Fine jewelry requires regular inspection and maintenance. We strongly recommend professional inspection approximately every 6 months, especially for daily-wear pieces.
Prong wear over time is considered normal maintenance and is not a manufacturing defect.
Failure to properly maintain your jewelry may void warranty coverage.
3. What Is Not Covered
This warranty does not cover:
-
normal wear and tear;
-
scratches, dents, thinning prongs, worn finishes, bent components, or surface wear;
-
accidental damage;
-
misuse, abuse, negligence, or improper care;
-
loss of stones caused by worn prongs over time;
-
damage caused by impact, pressure, snagging, or force;
-
unauthorized resizing, repair, soldering, polishing, plating, or alteration by a third party;
-
damage caused after recommended maintenance or repair has been declined;
-
damage to jewelry that has not been properly inspected or maintained;
-
theft, loss, or disappearance;
-
damage caused by chemicals, perfumes, lotions, cleaning products, sports, exercise, sleeping, showering, swimming, or improper storage.
4. Complimentary Service
During the warranty period, we offer one professional cleaning and inspection per year, by appointment.
This complimentary service does not include non-warranty repairs, such as retipping worn prongs, replacing stones lost due to wear or impact, or repairing accidental damage.
5. How to Submit a Warranty Claim
To request warranty review, contact help@sarahelisejewelry.com within 30 days of discovering the issue and provide:
-
proof of purchase;
-
clear photographs of the issue;
-
photographs of the full item;
-
a description of when and how the issue was noticed;
-
confirmation that no unauthorized repair, resizing, or alteration has been made.
If appropriate, we will provide return instructions and a Return Authorization (“RA”) number.
6. Physical Inspection Required
We must physically receive and inspect the item before determining whether a claim is covered.
Photographs are for preliminary review only. Final coverage decisions are made only after inspection by Sarah Elise.
7. Return Authorization Required
All warranty claims require prior authorization.
Before sending any item back, you must contact us and receive a valid Return Authorization number. You must use a tracked shipping method and provide the tracking number.
We are not responsible for items sent without authorization, without tracking, or without proof of delivery to our facility.
8. Resolution Options
For approved warranty claims, Sarah Elise may, at its sole discretion:
-
repair the item;
-
replace the item with the same or a comparable item;
-
issue store credit;
-
issue a refund, where appropriate.
The remedy selected by Sarah Elise shall be the sole and exclusive remedy for any approved warranty claim.
9. Non-Warranty Repairs

Examples may include:
-
prong retipping due to normal wear;
-
replacement of stones lost because of worn prongs or impact;
-
repair of bent, dented, scratched, or damaged jewelry;
-
repair of items altered or worked on by a third party.
If a repair is not covered, we may provide a quote before proceeding.

remove jewelry before swimming, showering, exercising, sleeping, or physical activity;

store jewelry safely in a soft pouch or jewelry box when not in use;

12. Limitation of Warranty
This warranty is limited to the repair, replacement, store credit, or refund remedies expressly stated in this policy.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, this warranty is exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties except those that cannot be disclaimed under applicable law. Sarah Elise disclaims liability for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from or related to any product or warranty claim, to the extent permitted by law.
Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable consumer rights you may have under applicable law.
