Ring Sizing Guide
Measuring your ring size at home can be done using simple methods. Remember that these methods might provide you with anapproximate measurement and it's always best to visit a jeweler or purchase our ring sizer tool for the most accurate sizing.
Here are a couple of common methods to measure your ring size at home:

1. Paper Strip Method:
- Take a strip of paper (about 1/2 inch or 1.3 cm wide) and wrap it around theknuckle of the finger you want to measure.
- Mark where the paper strip overlaps.
- Use a ruler to measure the length between the marked points in millimeters (mm).
Match the measurement to a ring size chart.Downloadour printable size guide.
2.String or Thin Strip of Paper Method:
- Similar to the paper strip method, but in this case, you use a string or a thin strip ofpaper instead.
- Wrap the string or paper around your knuckle finger and mark where it overlaps.
- Measure the length with a ruler in millimeters.
- Use a ring size chart to find your size.
3.Existing Ring Comparison:
- If you have a ring that already fits the finger you're measuring, you can use it tofind your size.
- Place the ring on a ruler and measure the inside diameter in millimeters.
- Use a ring size conversion chart to determine your size based on the diameter measurement.
- Remember that your fingers can vary in size throughout the day due to temperature changes and other factors. It's a good idea to measure your ring size atdifferent times to get a more accurate average.
Always opt for a snug but comfortable fit. If you're unsure between two sizes, it's usually better to choose the slightly larger size to ensure your ring isn't too tight. Keep in mind that these methods provide approximations and may not be as accurate as professional measurements taken by a jeweler or trying our ring sizer tool. Sarah Elise rings are available in quarter sizes to have the best fit.

The Right Fit

14” is the standard length for choker size. Choker-length necklaces have become popular to enhance any outfit and make a bold fashion statement. A choker style may look wonderful with a cocktail dress with a scooped neckline but may not fit over a turtleneck sweater.
Collar Length
16” is the most popular length for a necklace. Sits gently around the base of theneck on top of the clavicle. Perfect with V-necks, scoop necks, boat necks, andbutton-up blouses
Princess Length
18” or princess length is the most favored choice among necklace styles. A short necklace is designed to fall perfectly just below the base of the neck, resting around the collarbone
Matinee Length
"Matinee" refers to necklaces ranging from 20 to 24 inches long, typically draping elegantly between the collarbone and the breastbone. A medium-length necklace is ideal if you are of moderate height and have a fuller body type.

Measuring your wrist size is a straightforward process. Here's how you can do it:

1.Using a Flexible Measuring Tape:
- Gather Materials: You'll need a flexible measuring tape and a pen or marker.
- Wrap the Tape Around Your Wrist: Start by wrapping the measuring tape around your wristwhere you would normally wear a watch or bracelet. Make sure the tape is snug but not tootight. It should fit comfortably around your wrist.
- Read the Measurement: Once you have the tape in place, read the measurement where theend of the tape meets the rest of the tape. Make sure you're reading it at a straight angle toget an accurate measurement.
- Record Your Measurement: Note down the measurement in either inches or centimeters, depending on your preference.
2.Using a String or Strip of Paper:
- Gather Materials: You'll need a strip of paper or a piece of string and a ruler.
- Wrap the String or Paper: Wrap the strip of paper or string around your wrist, just like youwould with a measuring tape. Mark where the paper or string overlaps.
- Measure the Length: Carefully remove the paper or string from your wrist and lay it flat. Use a ruler to measure the length from the starting point to the marked spot. Make sure you measure in a straight line.
- Record Your Measurement: Note down the measurement in inches or centimeters
Remember that wrist size can vary throughout the day due to factors like temperature and activity level. To get a more accurate measurement, you might want to measure your wrist at different times and take an average.
